We walked all the stairs from Marina Grande to Anacapri with our suitcased which was quite a struggle as they are partly very steep and of course there are many many steps. Some way up two young guys.... more

Definitely, don't climb it unless you are very athletic. I took it on the way down from Axel Munthe's house and my quads and calves hurt for days! I hear there are about 800 steps. It felt like 1000! The reward is the stunning views. I wish it were better marked, though.

Lots of stairs here. But it is definitely the worst to climb on the top. The picturesque view will be your great reward for long and exhausted climbing. You may see the scenic view of the Capri port and city from here. Can recommend it to you.
