Teatro Romano, Anzio

The Roman Theater is located in the Roman Theater square on the plateau of Santa Teresa in Anzio. The theater dates back to the Neronian era, second half of the first century AD. it was built mainly to entertain the Roman nobles who came on holiday to Anzio. The choice of a single star is due to the conditions of abandonment by the local administration, which can only be visited from the outside as it is fenced, there are no signs / signs / information relating to the theater unfortunately it is not the only monument in these conditions.

Small archaeological gem, however poorly maintained, of a city that would have a lot to "tell" and show. Unfortunately the municipal administrations that have alternated over time have not shown any particular interest in "culture".
