Nuraghe la Prisgiona
The Nuraghe La Prisgiona is a nuragic archaeological site (occupied from the 14th until the 9th century B.C.), located in the Capichera valley in the municipality of Arzachena Costa Smeralda in the north of Sardinia. It consists of a nuraghe and a village comprising around 90-100 buildings, spread across 5 hectares. Findings from this site are in many cases unique in Sardinia, particularly with regard to decoration and use. Due to the large extent and number of buildings the site is considered unique in North-East Sardinia. There is also some evidence for occupation during Roman and medieval times. The Giants' grave Coddu Vecchiu is located nearby.Make Nuraghe la Prisgiona a part of your Arzachena vacation plans using our Arzachena vacation maker website.

Bronze Age settlement in granite. Er. That’s it. Yes, you can try to understand how civilisation progressed. My cynical head made me wonder about how much was original and how much was...

Interesting sight with a lot of history. Warning though,do not take the 1 km road through the forest to the Giants Tomb or if you do, make sure you have proper shoes and water. Way easier to walk on the main road or take the car, especially if you have a packed day ahead and you need to save time and energy.

Very impressive antique village. So well preserved and so many different buildings are located there. It is interesting, in my country, Bulgaria, we have one similar landmark, it is smaller that any one building in the Nuraghe La Prisgiiona. I know, there are very few places like this all over the world and i am happy i had seen two of them.
