Create an itinerary including Tre Cime di Lavaredo
Tre Cime di Lavaredo or “the three peaks of Lavaredo” measure up at 3 km (1.9 mi) in elevation. They have long represented a border or a battleground: You’ll still find fortifications, man-made caves, and plaques commemorating World War I in this area. Although these mountains are accessible by toll road, you can experience the best views via excursions on foot. If you don’t have much mountaineering experience, consider the circuit around the base of the peaks. • Amazing view and worth for hiking. For beginner or non-hiker, it is not that easy for you, frankly speaking. You will take about 1.30- 2 hours to three peaks for the highlight spot and I recommend...

  • MUST VISIT if you’re traveling to the Dolomites. Pay the toll (€25). The drive to the top offers stunning views. There’s plenty of parking with easy access to beautiful trail that are wide and well maintained. Bring plenty of water, wear good shoes, and you’ll be fine. Spend the day hiking between huts.
  • What an experience! We went last November and we hiked for three hours going up and also going down. I am a beginner when it comes to hiking and I would say that this place is suitable for beginners! Just make sure to be covered adequately and make sure to have water-resistant trekking shoes during the winter as the snow gets to be thick. Along the way you will be seeing some falls and lots of great panoramic views so make sure to charge your phone! There were times when you can choose to have a 'shortcut' but these routes tend to be more difficult and could be a better way for those who are skilled hikers. You can also bring your ski gear as we've seen people skiing down the slopes. The people we met along the way were really nice and friendly! Upon reaching the top, my mind was blown. It was really beautiful and the hike was definitely worth it. Make sure to bring snacks (we had celebratory hotdogs upon reaching the peak) and enough water for the whole hike. A must visit and I would really recommend this to everyone!
