Passo Giau is one of the most scenic passes of the Venetian Dolomites. The road begins at Colle Santa Lucia and continues uphill through sparse forests for approximately 10 km (6.2 mi) until the summit. On a clear day, the summit offers a view over the Cortina D'Ampezzo valley and the peaks of the Dolomites. Reward yourself with a hot or cold drink at the inviting cafe at the summit. Pick up a map of all of the area's marked trails at the local tourism office. WOW the lookout at the top of the pass !!!! I have been to many beautiful places. But this has to be one of the most beautiful views I have even seen. Magical. Words can’t describe the beauty. I would it give it a 10 stars if I could !!

This place is stunning! We stopped here for 30 minutes to have a look around the sights. It has free parking and some easy trails to get some amazing views/photos. Would highly recommend to stop on your way to Cortina.
