St. Euphemia's Basilica, Grado

In the historical center of the city, St. Euphemia's Basilica occupies the site of a much older religious building, which probably stood there until the 5th century. The look of today's building owes much to restorations made in the 17th and 18th centuries, with features that include a bell tower topped by the statue of Archangel Michael, considered one of the city's main symbols. The star attraction of the church remain the interior floor mosaics, well preserved and dating back to the 6th century.
