The oratory of S. Maria is very beautiful its position is spectacular. Walking through the streets of the village you reach the top where the small square with the church is located. The first writings of the oratory church date back to 1552. It belonged to the Confraternita dei Battuti di Santa Maria, owned by the Genoese senate. To date, the Oratory church is deconsecrated, and owned by the Municipality. It is used for civil weddings and exhibitions. The facade of the oratory tells of its antiquity. Undoubtedly it represents a delightful corner of Tellaro where you can stop and admire the horizon and be at peace with the world!
