Hama-jima Island (The Phantom Island), Kohama-jima

I have not visited this island but grandma idols KBG85 motivates me to be there to see their performance :)

Kohama Island is called the navel of Yaeyama. A good size island that you can fully enjoy if you have 3 days and 2 nights. From Mt. Odake, which is 99 meters above sea level, it is the best location where you can see eight islands except Yonaguni Island. It is famous nationwide as the stage of NHK's morning drama "Chura-san". Cycling along the sugar cane fields and the Sugar Road while feeling the wind is pleasant, but if you use a bicycle, the island is surprisingly large, so we recommend renting a bike or renting a car. Goat (hija sashimi) sashimi has no odor and an addictive taste. Hija sashimi can be enjoyed at Izakaya Aju. It is highly recommended to go to Coral Beach at sunset, not during the day.
