Blue Grotto (Il-Hnejja) represents one of Malta's best-known and most beautiful sights. Amazing views and photo ops here. It is also nice to walk up (or down) the hill to take in the full scale of the views. Parking at the top is free; the lot at the bottom of the hill had more spaces...

I am very glad we went because the colors of the water are amazing but it felt like a Disneyworld ride. Pack everyone quickly in a small boat go through for 5 or 10 minutes in a line if other small boats, jump off quickly hike up a very steep hill to your bus of pay $1.00 per person to ride up in a crowded golf cart. I would not go again.

Awesome place. Great scenery, not to be missed if visiting Malta. The boat tour is a must do. Waters can be rough at times but it’s a must do memorable experience. Mesmerising caves and beautiful place. PS: If you are doing the Malta Aquarium, please do the grotto boat tour first as the ticket for boat tour has a voucher for Malta Aquarium.
