Lifeguards patrol the beach throughout the day in the summer season, and a small reef on the eastern side of the beach provides a calm place to practice your snorkeling if you’re a beginner. Wear swim shoes to avoid underwater rocks. You can use the beach's restrooms and showers, and if you’re feeling peckish, you can reserve one of the picnic shelters that line the shore among the palms.
