Museo de Las Americas serves as an art museum dedicated to the Native American tribes from all over the Americas. Observe exhibits detailing the different peoples from around the Americas and where they originated from and lived. A highlight is the bronze castings and statues that display prominent figures from specific tribes. Another room's exhibits display folk art of the indigenous people with several examples. A separate display room focuses on Puerto Rico (instead of the Americas as a whole) and gives a great walkthrough of the indigenous people's history. • Very cool museum with half a dozen open exhibits. The structure is old, and there were lots of spots with unsafe flooring and construction areas. The staff were nice, the fare was low ($6?) and there was a very eclectic collection of exhibits when we went by. Note that there are no staff guiding you on the first level, but there is a gate leading up to second level where there is a staff member that will charge you for entry. Bathrooms on level 1 and 2, and a coffee shop open on level 1.
  • This is a very cool museum! They had eight galleries open today when we went. The cost is only $6 per adult to get in. Each gallery has a completely different theme. Lots to see in this museum.
