Listen to a live poem recital while sipping on freshly roasted coffee at The Poet's Passage. The cafe serves as an artistic hub for locals to meet, chat and perform. The exterior features a colonial façade painted bright red with white trim. Inside, colorful art and poetry decorate the walls with local artisan crafts displayed and sold. Grab a flavoured latte, also known as a Rhyme, with a delicious tofu or hummus wrap. The cafe encourages you to write your own poetry on the tables as you dine and take in the atmosphere. • This little shop/cafe/exhibit/open mic spot is delightful. The couple who own it are a very talented unit and their love of each other and art shows everywhere. It’s a quick and lovely visit.

  • Must stop to check this place out and get some poetry books and awesome artwork! Learn about Lady Lee Andrews and her own life's passages on the walls and the struggles of home Puerto Rico. She opens her heart and soul for everyone to appreciate life with hope.
  • This is mainly an art gallery though they do have space in the back for jam sessions; listen to a live poem recital while sipping on freshly roasted coffee at The Poet's Passage. The cafe serves as an artistic hub for locals to meet, chat and perform. this is right at Plaza de Armas square (a prime spot in San Juan). The exterior features a colonial façade painted bright red with white trim. Inside, colorful art and poetry decorate the walls with local artisan crafts displayed and sold. of course, you won't stop yourself to buy Puerto Rico's famous Souvenir - small replicas of colorful houses or framed paintings. these are must buy
