Learn about the Serbian-American scientist who contributed to creating modern-day electricity at Nikola Tesla Museum, which presents inventions, documents, and photographs about his life and work. Popularly known as the mad scientist, Tesla produced contraptions during the 19th and 20th centuries that are too advanced to be powered even today. Visit this museum to see the world's largest collection on his life and work. A guided tour (available in English) will present some of his inventions, including a wireless boat and the Tesla coil. You'll also learn about Tesla's cooperation with the United States' corporate giants. Browse through thousands of related photographs, written records, and drawings that depict Tesla's carrier. Check the website for tour times, as a guided tour may be the only way to visit the museum. • I don’t know if the museum is good if not. We haven’t seen it because we couldn’t pay the ticket. They don’t accept credit card nor Euros!! Only local cash that we didn’t have. I haven’t heard again....  more

  • I expected a much more professional commemorative narrative for Tesla. A management that smells of very commercial purpose but failed to do it either. It didn't add the slightest bit to what I knew,

  • The museum is located not too far from the centre of town. It's dedicated to the memory of Nikola Tesla and you can find out everything about his life and work there. It's also the final resting place of Tesla. As we were informed, the museum is founded when Tesla's nephew donated his private stuff to the museum. One can see some Tesla's private things, like his suit, hat, shoes, spectacles, a bag...and the other part of the museum is dedicated to his inventions and experiments. It's interactive and very interesting and fun.
  • The museum is nice and there is a guided tour. However, I expected there would be more things to see. There are essentially 2 rooms and 1 hallway. The way it was explained to me by the guy working there, the price for entering the museum is the same whether you want to go on a tour or just wonder around on your own. The ticket is about 8 euros. In my opinion it's not worth it if you don't do the tour which lasts about 45min. It consists of a presentation(they play a film), and then the guide takes you through 7 exponents where they show you how Tesla's inventions work. That was the only type of unique experience. The staff are very polite, but I wasn't amazed and I expected to see a lot more therefore only 3 stars.
