Sculpturepark Jardíns de Cap Roig
Built in 1927 by Colonel Woevodsky and Dorothy Webster, Sculpturepark Jardíns de Cap Roig is a lovers’ paradise that has a must-see reputation in the town. These gardens are a collection of tropical flowers, plants, and birds that thrive in the area's mild climate, growing on terraces that begin at a castle and run all the way to the sea. You'll have myriad walks to choose from that lead you through a Cactus Garden or a Spring Garden, on a Geranium Walk, or past palms and sculptures. What an incredible place. Acre upon acre of beautiful plants, all artfully arranged and lovingly cared for. This is an astounding place - we spent more than 2 hours wandering, always in awe.

Amazing garden. The sea views are partly blocked by trees but still very appealing. The ticketing staff are really nice (thatnk for that bottle of water!). Wear good shoes - the grounds are rather large. Getting to the garden on foot, on the other hand, is not recommended: the access road does not have a sidewalk.

This is so much more than a beautiful botanic garden, it's a story of the lives, love and legacy of two people. We arrived early and being able to explore the garden virtually alone was truly a magical experience. I could feel the presence of Dorothy as I walked down the steps from house and into the garden with the beautiful views. Lot's lovely places to sit and soak up the atmosphere. Free car park, but if you have a motorhome, don't try freeloading, you have to visit the garden. 10€ for adults or 5€ if you are over 65. What I really didn't like and I tried my best to ignore, we're the awful, out of place "sculptures". Why are they even there? Please get rid of the hideous, tacky bowl of fruit and put it back where it deserves to be in a holiday camp amusement arcade. Having said that, if you can turn a blind eye, you will enjoy the garden.
