Covered with coarse sand and fine pebbles, Playa Torrecilla is one of Nerja's most popular beaches, conveniently located within walking distance of bars and restaurants. The beach promenade features two restaurants, as well as snack shacks and a small "library" offering books, newspapers, magazines, and kids' games during the summer season. Amenities include sunbeds, showers, restrooms, and a first-aid post. If you're thinking of swimming or snorkeling off the rocky promontories at either end of the beach, be careful of the strong undercurrents. Lovely beach area to wander around Nerja. We visited in early March, the weather was amazing but still low season so not so busy. Beach was lovely and clean and water really clear. Some diggers along the beach doing work before the high season sets-in so good to see it’s up-keep is important. Long path along the coast to wander numerous km’s.

A nice small beach,not very busy usually, perfect for short swim and sunbath.
