A collection of bars that regularly fill with visitors and young people sprung up in Parte Vieja during a tourism boom at the end of Franco’s dictatorship. Most of the neighborhood is dominated by 19th-century architecture built around the same time the walls surrounding the area were demolished. A must have in Spanish cities a nice square, this it not as grand as many others but has it's own unique history with the numbers on the buildings from when there was bull fighting here.
