Climb up through a dry humid forest at lower levels, followed by a rainforest, and finally a cloud forest toward the top. Keep an eye out for local animal life such as red-necked pigeons, bridled quail-doves, and African green vervet monkeys as you ascend. Visitors should bring plenty of food, water, and navigation equipment, and are also encouraged to hire a guide.
