Swedish King Karl XIV Johan developed this area into an English park in the 19th century; it was opened to visitors with the goal of educating the public about the history of agriculture and gardening. Great place with a lovely garden for having lunch. They grew the vegetables there and everything we tasted was amazing. There was a very long queue, but it goes very fast -- so, don't quit, it is totally worth it.

One of the cosiest places in Stockholm. Located in the middle of the Djurgården, it feels like being out on the countryside. Beautiful flowers, lots of seating and great pastries. A must for every Stockholm visit.
