Create an itinerary including Trümmelbachfälle
Hike around the massive subterranean Trümmelbachfälle, which cascade down a narrow slot canyon carved out by natural forces over thousands of years. Illuminated and accessible to visitors by a tunnel elevator, the World Heritage-listed falls drain the melting snow and ice from three glaciers, carrying up to 20,000 l (5,200 gal) of water per second. The water crashing down the tight canyon walls generates a constant mist in the air and makes the walking paths extremely slippery, so be sure to wear a waterproof jacket and sturdy shoes with non-slip soles. Once you tire of the cave-like tunnels, hike to nearby Lauterbrunnen, an unspoiled village nestled between the walls of a sheer-sided valley. • Very impressive to hear, see and feel the full force of the water tumbling down in the mountain. The elevator is a nice ride and the climbs in the mountain are mild. The temperature can get quite low, even on hot days, so people who tend to get cold easily are advised to bring a light rain coat. At some viewing points there is a lot of spray from the falls so you might get a bit wet, but nothing too serious. All in all a great attraction to visit on a hot day!
  • It was absolutely one of the best waterfalls I’ve ever seen before. It’s so amazing and you can walk inside the mountain and you’ll see beautiful view. Moreover it was really cold inside the mountain So you have to make sure that you’re wearing well . Finally I will really recommending you to visit there for an hour it’ll be great for you.
