Today you can visit the museum and home, which was remodeled to reflect how it would have looked when Rembrandt lived there. Walk through a replica of his bedroom, view his collection of artifacts from around the world, and see many of his prominent works on display. You can also take a guided tour, participate in a print-making workshop, or watch an etching and paint-preparation demonstration. • Really neat experience. The ticket comes with a free audio tour device that's available in a bunch of different languages. The audio tour itself is really informative and is worth listening to. The house itself is really interesting and there is a fair bit of art displayed in the house. I wish there had been more Rembrandt work as a lot of it is contemporaries and students of his. There is a separate gallery that displays a rotating collection at the end of the tour.
  • The house of the most famous son of Amsterdam. Most of his works were hung in other grand museums; here his life is shown in his own house. One would get the gist of his life, how he lived and worked. The house illustrated this point very well with many original artifacts of the period. The audio program was very helpful, telling vivid stories of his life and how he earned his living. Very nice museum with very good supportive staff.
