Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Gyre has been added to your itinerary. Go for a jaunt from Tokyo to Maihama to see Tokyo DisneySea about 30 minutes away. There's still lots to do: find something for the whole family at Tokyo Disneyland, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Senso-ji Temple, get your game on at Owl Cafe Akiba Fukurou, and don't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine.

Fuji — 1 night

Fuji is a city in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Start off your visit on the 11th (Sun): get great views at Obuchi Sasaba, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine, then make a trip to Fujikawa Service Area - Inbound, and finally get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.

Take a train from Tokyo to Fuji in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. While traveling from Tokyo, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Fuji, ranging from highs of 73°F to lows of 68°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Sun) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.
