Carry-le-Rouet is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in southern France.Carry-le-Rouet is a seaside resort located 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Marseille by highway A55, then route D5, set at the foot of pine-covered hills.From December to February every year is held the famous "oursinades", a tasting of sea urchins and various shellfish which are ultra fresh, plentiful, and delicious. Bring the kids along to Le Sentier Du Lezard and St. Croix Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Plage Napoleon (in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhone), Istres (Plage de la Romaniquette, Etang de l'Olivier, &more) and Salin de Giraud (Plage de Piemanson, Sentiers de Decouverte la Palissade, &more).
