Calvi is a commune in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica.It is the seat of the Canton of Calvi, which contains Calvi and one other commune, Lumio. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Citadelle de Calvi and Punta Spano. Do some cultural sightseeing at Les Calanche Cliffs and Eglise de la Sainte-Trinite et de Saint Jean-Baptiste. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Calvi: Eglise de l'Assomption (in Cateri), Torrefaction Le Bon Cafe (in Ile Rousse) and Arbo valley (in Monticello). Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Calvi is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train, ferry, and bus. Traveling from Amsterdam in October, things will get somewhat warmer in Calvi: highs are around 26°C and lows about 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Porto.

Porto-Vecchio is a commune in the Corse-du-Sud department of France on the island of Corsica. Get some cultural insight at Bonifacio Citadel and Cimetiere Marin de Bonifacio. Take a break from the city and head to Plage de Palombaggia and Plage de Santa Giulia. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Porto-Vecchio: Monastere Notre-Dame de l’Assunta Gloriosa (in Sari-Solenzara), Aiguilles de Bavella (Bavella Needles) (in Zonza) and Bonifacio (Plage de Rondinara, Plage du Petit Sperone, &more).
