Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Budapest is an approximately 10-hour flight. The time zone changes from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -2 hour difference. Expect cooler temperatures when traveling from Riyadh in July; daily highs in Budapest reach 33°C and lows reach 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Mon) so you can drive to Eger.

Eger — 5 nights

Nestled between the Matra and Bukk Mountains in northern Hungary, Eger represents a mixture of historical discovery and relaxing pleasures.
When in Eger, make a side trip to see Zoo Sosto in Nyiregyhaza, approximately Nyiregyhaza away. There's lots more to do: identify plant and animal life at Tokaj Wine Region, examine the collection at Gardonyi Geza Emlekmuzeum, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Minorita Templom, and make a trip to Dobo Square.

You can drive from Budapest to Eger in 2 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or take a train. In July in Eger, expect temperatures between 33°C during the day and 18°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Sat) so you can travel back home.
