Reims is home to Champagne--the most celebrated and celebratory wine in the world.Get out of town with these interesting Reims side-trips: Basilique Notre-Dame de Brebieres (in Albert), Amiens (La Cave du Houblon, Cathedrale Notre-Dame d'Amiens, &more) and Epernay (Moet et Chandon & Paul-Etienne Saint Germain). Dedicate the 29th (Mon) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Reims, admire the landmark architecture of Œuvre de la cathédrale, contemplate the long history of Palais du Tau, and get to know the resident critters at Zoo d'Amnéville.
