Step off the beaten path and head to Wine Tours & Tastings and Mercado de San Antón. Shop till you drop at Barrio de Salamanca and Mercado San Miguel. Step out of Madrid to go to Aldea del Fresno and see Playa del Alberche, which is approximately 50 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: admire the masterpieces at Prado National Museum, get engrossed in the history at Naval Museum, see the interesting displays at Caixa Forum, and contemplate the long history of Royal Palace of Madrid.
