Strasbourg — 11 nights

Crossroads of Europe

Strasbourg is famous for its beautiful historical center, the Grande Île, which was the first city center classified entirely as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Strasbourg is one of the nine largest cities in France with nearly half a million inhabitants in the metropolitan area crossing the river to the German city of Kehl, on the eastern bank of the Rhine River.
Explore Strasbourg's surroundings by going to Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg (in Orschwiller), Nancy (Parc de la Pepiniere, Place Stanislas, &more) and Eglise Abbatiale Saint Maurice d'Ebersmunster (in Ebersmunster). There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg, admire the striking features of Œuvre de la cathédrale, explore the world behind art at Musée des Beaux-Arts de Strasbourg, and wander the streets of Little Venice.
