Aix-en-Provence — 14 nights

Aix-en-Provence is a small, classically Provençal town, famous for being home to Cézanne.
Get some historical perspective at Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde and La Croisette. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Palais des Papes and Cours Mirabeau. Venture out of the city with trips to Marseille (The Panier, Le Vieux Port, &more), Avignon (Pont d'Avignon & Musee du Petit Palais) and Cannes (Le Suquet & Rue d'Antibes). Spend the 2nd (Sat) exploring the fascinating underwater world at Marineland. There's still lots to do: make a trip to Pavillon de Vendome, examine the collection at Site Memorial du Camp des Milles, explore the world behind art at Carrieres des Lumieres, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Paroisse Cathédrale Saint Sauveur Aix-en-Provence.

To find where to stay, more things to do, ratings, and other tourist information, go to the Aix-en-Provence road trip website.
