Ishigaki — 2 nights

Kick off your visit on the 30th (Sat): walk around Kabira Park, enjoy the sand and surf at Yonehara Beach, take in the pleasant sights at Cape Ongazaki, then kick back and relax at Kondoi Beach, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Island Countryside Settlement. Mumbai, India to Ishigaki is an approximately 11.5-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 3.5 hours traveling from Mumbai to Ishigaki. Traveling from Onna-son in October, you will find days in Yakushima-cho are slightly colder (30°C), and nights are about the same (23°C). Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Fri) early enough to catch the flight to Tateyama-machi.

Tateyama-machi — 2 nights

On the 7th (Sat), take in the pleasant sights at Yuki no Otani (Snow Wall), see human ingenuity at work at Kurobe Dam, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Tateyama, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Mikurigaike Pond.
