Reims is home to Champagne--the most celebrated and celebratory wine in the world.
Take a break from Reims with a short trip to Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, about 36 minutes away. Dedicate the 16th (Fri) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's lots more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Reims, steep yourself in history at Maison Ruinart, and admire the landmark architecture of Basilique Saint-Remi.
