Traveling by train from Paris to Reims takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Paris in September, Reims is slightly colder at night with lows of 48°F. On the 18th (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can take a train to Paris.

When in Paris, make a side trip to see Fondation Claude Monet in Giverny, approximately Giverny away.
