Light of Castilla
As one of Spain’s most well-preserved medieval cities, Segovia is known for its 1st-century Roman aqueduct that runs through the city center.Discover out-of-the-way places like Bodegas Y Vinedos PradoRey and Calle Real de Segovia. Do some cultural sightseeing at Iglesia de Santa Maria and Plaza de Medina del Campo, Segovia. Get out of town with these interesting Segovia side-trips: Tiermes (in Montejo de Tiermes), Castillo de Gormaz (in Gormaz) and Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion (in Duraton). There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Monasterio de San Antonio El Real, explore the fascinating underground world of Cueva de los Enebralejos, look for all kinds of wild species at Hoces del Rio Duraton Natural Park, and see the interesting displays at Real Casa de la Moneda.
