Cultural Capital of Spain
Madrid is known for its cultural and artistic heritage, lively nightlife, and a dynamic culinary scene.Start off your visit on the 11th (Sat): walk around Parque del Retiro, then admire the masterpieces at Prado National Museum, and then contemplate the long history of Plaza Mayor. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: don't miss a visit to Puerta del Sol, browse the eclectic array of goods at Mercado San Miguel, admire the landmark architecture of Royal Palace of Madrid, then wander the streets of Gran Via, and finally awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area.
