In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Sun): explore the activities along Naviglio Grande and then indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas. Here are some ideas for day two: stop by Libreria Internazionale Ulrico Hoepli, appreciate the history behind Grande Disco, then see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and finally make a trip to Piazza Mercanti.
