Carcassonne — 3 nights

Medieval Heart of France

Change things up with these side-trips from Carcassonne: Cathedrale St-Jean (in Perpignan), Orgues d'Ille Sur Tet (in Ille-sur-Tet) and Abbaye de Fontfroide (in Narbonne). There's more to do: take a stroll through Cité de Carcassonne and take in the views from Le Pont Vieux (The Old Bridge).
