Giverny is a small French village in Upper Normandy, best known as the rural retreat of the Impressionist painter Claude Monet (1840-1926).
Start off your visit on the 16th (Mon): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Sainte-Radegonde de Giverny, take in nature's colorful creations at Fondation Claude Monet, and then admire the masterpieces at Musee des impressionnismes.
