Motobu-cho — 3 nights

Formed by the gradual merging of several old fishing villages, today the island town of Motobu-cho boasts paradisal beaches of white sand, clear waters, and a rich array of wildlife.
Step out of the city life by going to Nirai Beach and Bisezaki. Kids will appreciate attractions like Minna Beach and Anchihama. Get out of town with these interesting Motobu-cho side-trips: Onna-son (Moon Beach, Tiger Beach, &more) and Nago (Kise Beach & Koki Beach). There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Emerald Beach, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Okichan Theater, and get outside with Akabaka Beach.

Toronto, Canada to Motobu-cho is an approximately 23-hour combination of flight and bus. Traveling from Toronto to Motobu-cho, you'll lose 14 hours due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Toronto in July, expect Motobu-cho to be somewhat warmer, temps between 37°C and 30°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Zamami-son.

Zamami-son — 2 nights

The village of Zamami-son in the western Kerama Islands spans four of the islands in the group, one of which remains uninhabited.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Thu): enjoy the sand and surf at Yuhina Beach, kick back and relax at Furuzamami Beach, head outdoors with Kushibaru Beach, then kick back and relax at Nishibama Beach, then kick back and relax at Aka Beach, and finally head outdoors with Hizushi Beach. A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
