The 2013 European "Capital of Culture," Marseille is the largest port city on the breezy Mediterranean coast and the second largest city in France.Get out of town with these interesting Marseille side-trips: Roussillon (Parcours de L'Art & Le Sentier des Ocres), Avignon (Pont d'Avignon, Palais des Papes, &more) and Aix-en-Provence (Hotel de Caumont - Art Centre, Cours Mirabeau, &more). Spend the 30th (Sun) exploring nature at Parc National des Calanques.
