Taipei — 19 nights

City of Azaleas

Situated in a basin between two mountain ranges, Taipei appeals to tourists with its blend of Asian cultures, living side by side amidst Japanese-era mansions and Taoist temples.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Fulung Beach and Waiao Beach. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Taipei 101 and Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Shifen Old Street (in Pingxi), YehLiu Geopark (in Wanli) and Spas (in Yilan City). Spend the 16th (Fri) exploring nature at Yangmingshan National Park. There's much more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Lungshan Temple, look for all kinds of wild species at Manyueyuan National Forest Recreation Area, get a dose of the wild on HolaTaipei Tours, and enjoy the sand and surf at Xinyue Beach.
