You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Venture out of the city with trips to Eger (Lyceum, Dobo Square, &more) and Nagyvillam Ski Slope (in Visegrad). Next up on the itinerary: make a trip to Fisherman's Bastion, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Matthias Church, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), and pause for some photo ops at Heroes' Square.
