Hyères, Provençal Occitan: Ieras in classical norm, or Iero in Mistralian norm) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.The old town lies 4km from the sea clustered around the Castle of Saint Bernard, which is set on a hill. Start off your visit on the 2nd (Wed): do a tasting at Domaine de la Sangliere, then get a dose of the wild on Dune La Londe, then look for gifts at Solistera, and finally learn about winemaking at Figuiere. On your second day here, sample the tasty concoctions at Brasserie Carteron, walk around Parc Olbius-Riquier, then test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, and finally stroll around Park and Gardens of the Mediterranean.

Nice to Hyeres is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. November in Hyeres sees daily highs of 20°C and lows of 10°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Thu) early enough to go by car to Eze.
