Rome — 4 nights

Eternal City
Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.Museo Nazionale Romano - Palazzo Massimo alle Terme and Villa Farnesina will appeal to museum buffs. Piazza Venezia and Basilica Papale San Paolo fuori le Mura are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's lots more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Santa Prassede, admire the landmark architecture of Le Domus Romane di Palazzo Valentini, stroll the grounds of Catacombs of Saint Callixtus, and make a trip to Forum of Augustus.
