Templemore is a town in County Tipperary, Ireland. Get a sense of the local culture at Hore Abbey and Portumna Friary. You'll discover tucked-away gems like The Irish Workhouse Centre and Devil's Bit. Change things up with these side-trips from Templemore: Timahoe Heritage Centre (in Timahoe), St Marks Cemetery and Famine Graveyard (in Cashel) and Abbeyleix Bog Project (in Abbeyleix). Limerick — 2 nights

Founded by Vikings over a thousand years ago, Limerick sits at the head of the Shannon River's broadening estuary.
On the 14th (Wed), get engrossed in the history at Limerick Museum, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Mary's Cathedral, then step into the grandiose world of Dromoland Castle, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Lahinch Beach. On the next day, admire the masterpieces at Hunt Museum, explore the historical opulence of King John's Castle, and then see the interesting displays at Foynes Flying Boat Museum.
