City of Kings

Reims is home to Champagne--the most celebrated and celebratory wine in the world.
Venture out of the city with trips to Amiens (Les Hortillonnages d'Amiens, Cathedrale Notre-Dame d'Amiens, &more), Monument et Parc commémoratifs du Canada à Vimy (in Givenchy-en-Gohelle) and Le Palais Des Beaux Arts de Lille (in Lille). There's lots more to do: admire the striking features of Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Reims, pause for some serene contemplation at Œuvre de la cathédrale, do a tasting at Champagnes Pommery, and contemplate the long history of Palais du Tau.

To see traveler tips, where to stay, more things to do, and more tourist information, refer to the Reims day trip planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Paris-Orly Airport and Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport. In July in Reims, expect temperatures between 79°F during the day and 55°F at night.
