Billund, Denmark to Taipei is an approximately 23-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Central European Standard Time to Taipei Standard Time is 7 hours. Prepare for much hotter weather when traveling from Billund in March: high temperatures in Taipei hover around 25°C and lows are around 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Tue) so you can take a train to Xiulin.

Xiulin Township or Sioulin Township is a mountain indigenous township of Hualien County, Taiwan. Kick off your visit on the 29th (Wed): get outside with Shakadang Trail, then trek along Baiyang Trail, and then trek along Taroko Gorge. On the next day, hike along Zhuilu Old Trail, take in the dramatic natural features at Ch'ing-shui Cliff, and then pause for some photo ops at Eternal Spring Shrine.
