7 days in Paris, Reims & Epernay Itinerary

A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.

On the 11th (Fri), admire the landmark architecture of Sainte-Chapelle, stroll around Luxembourg Gardens, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Montmartre, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre. On the 12th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the world behind art at Musee d'Orsay, then pause for some photo ops at Arc de Triomphe, then contemplate the long history of Eiffel Tower, and finally take in nature's colorful creations at Jardin des Tuileries.

Boston, USA to Paris is an approximately 11-hour flight. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a 6 hour difference. Traveling from Boston in February, things will get a bit warmer in Paris: highs are around 46°F and lows about 34°F. You'll set off for Reims on the 13th (Sun).

Traveling by train from Paris to Reims takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In February in Reims, expect temperatures between 46°F during the day and 33°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Tue) so you can go by car to Epernay.

Best known for its Champagne production, Épernay is a small town featuring several famous brands, including Moët & Chandon, that have been aged in the miles of tunneled cellars carved from chalk rock beneath the town.

Start off your visit on the 15th (Tue): do a tasting at Champagne Charles Mignon, then do a tasting at Mercier, and then make a trip to La Chocolaterie Thibaut.
