San Juan

Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction and one of the oldest in the Americas.
Kick off your visit on the 31st (Sun): get some thrills out on the water with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure and then stop by Old San Juan.

Montreal, Canada to San Juan is an approximately 8-hour flight. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Montreal to San Juan due to the time zone difference. Isla de Vieques — 3 nights

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Playa Caracas and Playa La Chiva. And it doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Balneario Sun Bay, take a leisurely stroll along Mosquito Pier, add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour, and take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback.

You can fly from San Juan to Isla de Vieques in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of shuttle, taxi, and ferry. July in Isla de Vieques sees daily highs of 36°C and lows of 30°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Wed) so you can catch the flight to Culebra.

Culebra — 3 nights

With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
Step off the beaten path and head to Culebrita and Boat Tours & Water Sports. There's more to do: kick back and relax at Flamenco Beach and stroll through Playa Zoni.

You can fly from Isla de Vieques to Culebra in 3.5 hours. Another option is to ride a ferry. In August in Culebra, expect temperatures between 37°C during the day and 31°C at night. On the 6th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly back home.
