Nissa la Bella (Nice the Beautiful)

Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Take a break from Nice with a short trip to Lérins Islands in Cannes, about 52 minutes away. Spend the 14th (Wed) exploring the fascinating underwater world at Marineland. The adventure continues: take a stroll through Old Town, don't miss a visit to Promenade des Anglais, take some stellar pictures from Colline du Chateau overlook, and take in nature's colorful creations at Le Jardin Exotique d'Eze.

The 2013 European "Capital of Culture," Marseille is the largest port city on the breezy Mediterranean coast and the second largest city in France.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Fri): stop by The Panier, take a leisurely stroll along Le Vieux Port, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Abbaye Saint Victor, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathédrale La Major.

You can drive from Nice to Marseille in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. When traveling from Nice in June, plan for somewhat warmer days in Marseille, with highs around 33°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 20°C. An ancient town center surrounded by medieval ramparts, Avignon is a major city of Provence and a Mediterranean city in the Vaucluse department on the left bank of the Rhône River.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Sat): make a trip to Pont d'Avignon, explore the historical opulence of Palais des Papes, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Wine Safari.
