Kihei — 7 nights

Stretching over 9.7 km (6 mi) of pristine south Maui coastline, Kihei is the island's driest and sunniest region, making it a perfect location for water activities and beach leisure.Your day by day itinerary now includes Spas as well as South Shore Tiki Lounge. Maria Lanakila Catholic Church and Old Lahaina Courthouse will appeal to history buffs. Visit Ho'okipa Beach Park and Ulua Beach for some beach relaxation. Venture out of the city with trips to Kapalua Beach (in Kapalua) and Lahaina (Ka'anapali Beach, Lahaina Harbor, &more). Columbus to Kihei is an approximately 12-hour flight. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time to Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time, which is usually a -5 hour difference. Traveling from Columbus in December, things will get much hotter in Kihei: highs are around 82°F and lows about 66°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Sat) early enough to fly back home.
