Nissa la Bella (Nice the Beautiful)

Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Step out of Nice with an excursion to Massif de l'Esterel in Agay--about 56 minutes away. Spend the 30th (Tue) exploring the fascinating underwater world at Marineland. There's lots more to do: get great views at Colline du Chateau overlook, make a trip to Promenade Maurice Rouvier, take in nature's colorful creations at Le Jardin Exotique d'Eze, and examine the collection at Musée Marc Chagall.

Perhaps best known for its locally produced mustard, Dijon also makes a wonderfully flavorful crème de cassis, or blackcurrant liqueur, and boasts excellent examples of regional architecture with polychrome roofs made of tiles in terracotta, green, yellow, and black placed in geometric patterns.
On the 3rd (Sat), do a tasting at La Cave de l'Ange Gardien, then see the interesting displays at Hôtel-Dieu Museum Musée de l'Hôtel-Dieu, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedrale Saint-Benigne de Dijon, and finally trek along Owl's Trail.
