Reims — 7 nights

City of Kings

Reims is home to Champagne--the most celebrated and celebratory wine in the world.
Explore Reims' surroundings by going to Amiens (St-Leu, Cathedrale Notre-Dame d'Amiens, &more), Room Escape Games (in Lille) and Monument et Parc commémoratifs du Canada à Vimy (in Givenchy-en-Gohelle). Dedicate the 17th (Sat) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's lots more to do: admire the landmark architecture of Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Reims, learn about winemaking at Champagne Taittinger, contemplate the long history of Basilique Saint-Remi, and don't miss a visit to Palais du Tau.

For where to stay, maps, photos, and other tourist information, use the Reims online road trip planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Paris-Orly Airport and Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport. In June, daytime highs in Reims are 74°F, while nighttime lows are 49°F.
